ST BOSWELLS' annual Village Week came back with a bang last week with activities for all ages.
The celebrations began on Sunday, May 28, with a mixed abilities tournament at the tennis club – with plenty of sweet treats available for players and spectators.
On Monday the golf club held tuition sessions as well as games.
The SWI (Scottish Women's Institute) hosted a games night, including bingo, on Tuesday, May 30.
On Wednesday pupils from the primary school were joined on the Green by Melrose Pipe Band to dance reels, and the day ended with a guided history walk around the village.
An afternoon tea dance was held at the Village Hall on Thursday, and the cricket club held a game of rounders on Friday.
On Saturday (June 3) the Community Woodlands welcomed visitors for a bug hunt in the morning.
Then the community gathered for the village race, tug of war, 'welly wanging', 'hang tough', cycling, obstacle course, and football tournament.
Plenty of trophies were won.
And the week came to an end with a Sunday church service on the Croft.
A spokesperson from St Boswells Village Week said: "What a fantastic week we had, and the weather was so kind to us.
"So many people helped in so many ways.
"The whole community came together to make our Village Week another memorable year.
"There are too many people to mention individually, so can I just say a huge thank you to everyone.
"See you next year."
