A PEEBLES Barber is celebrating after gathering almost £2,000 in a hair-raising stunt.
As previously reported in the Peeblesshire News, Ibrahim Eroglu, owner of NorthPoint Barbers, in Northgate, set himself the challenge of cutting hair for 24 hours on Saturday, December 10.
The 26-year-old took on the charity challenge to raise money for the Borders General Hospital, near Melrose.
Ibrahim told us: “The challenge went really well and I raised just under £2,000 with all the donations. I’m so pleased with it, but I was shattered by the end of it.
“The people who came along gave me great feedback about it, which is really nice to know.
“I just want to thank all the people who have donated to this great cause.”
