FAMILIES across Galashiels are set for some magic and sparkle as pantomime Aladdin comes to the Borders.

The Right Angle Theatre Company is back performing in the Volunteer Hall, Galashiels, starting tonight (Tuesday, December 6) and will run until Saturday night (December 10).

Ticket sales, as in former years, have sold out fast, with packed audiences and large groups coming from the town and neighbouring Border towns every night for the productions.

The show itself is full of colour with all the traditional pantomime themes to support a very enthusiastic cast.

The songs selected will have everyone on their toes and some of the gags and general wit is sure to bring a smile to the faces of all who manage to go along.

The team behind the production have been busy rehearsing and practising their lines and songs for several weeks, in preparation for the five shows.

There are a few tickets available for the remaining nights and they can be purchased at Fountain News, Iain Smith & Partners or Nobles Fish Shop.

Residents are urged to book tickets early to avoid disappointment.
