Heavy rain is expected this afternoon
A FLOOD alerts has been issued for the Scottish Borders.
Heavy rain is forecast to arrive in the west of the region during this afternoon.
A spokesman for the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency said: "There is a risk of flooding to low lying land and roads, and isolated properties from rivers and surface water."
